10.00 – Borobudur Buddhist Temple [UNESCO]
Borobudur is a 9th century Mahayana Buddhist temple built during the reign of the Sailendra Dynasty. The temple is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. The central dome is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues, each seated inside a perforated stupa. It is the world’s largest Buddhist temple, as well as one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world. The temple was designed in Javanese Buddhist architecture, which blends the Indonesian indigenous cult of ancestor worship and the Buddhist concept of attaining Nirvana

15.30 – Prambanan Hindu Temple [UNESCO] OR Ratu Boko Buddhist Temple (Optional)
Prambanan is a 9th century Hindu temple compound dedicated to the Trimurti, the Creator (Brahma), the Preserver (Vishnu) and the Destroyer (Shiva). The temple compound is the largest Hindu temple site in Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its tall and pointed architecture, typical of Hindu architecture, and by the towering 47 m high central building.
Ratu Boko is an archaeological site known as Queen Boko’s Palace. The original name of this site is still unclear, probably the site was a palace complex which belonged to the kings of Sailendra or Mataram Kingdom that also built temples scattered across the Prambanan Plain. The oldest ruins were identified as a buddhist temple, and then converted in to hindu temple, and later as a castle. Despite the large quantity and variety of remains found there, an old javanese inscription refers to the constructions of a Buddhist monastery modelled after Abhayagiri Vihara Complex (means a monastery on a peaceful hill) in Sri Lanka, where a group of ascetic forest dwelling monks resided.

14.30 – Mt. Merapi Lava Tour (Off Road)
Merapi Volcano or Mt. Merapi (2930 m) is an active stratovolcano and has erupted regularly since 1548. Lava Tour is taking an off road jeep (4 pax in each Jeep) on Mt. Merapi and, it is one of the most fun things to do in Yogyakarta.

Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat Palace or commonly known as Keraton Jogja is a palace complex located in the city of Yogyakarta, built by Prince Mangkubumi in 1755-1756. The palace is the main seat Sultan of Yogyakarta and his family. It serves as a cultural center for the Javanese people and contains a museum that displays the sultanate’s artifacts

12.00 – Batik Museum & Batik making place
A Batik showroom and factory where you can see both beautiful hand made Indonesian batik fabric, and watch the traditional batik process

19.30 – Ramayana Ballet (Seat: Class II)
Ramayana at Prambanan is the most spectacular performance in Yogyakarta that held in the complex of Prambanan. This 2-hour theatrical performance is combined with dance- drama visualization of legendary epos in Javanese culture accompanied by gamelan music. A full-time professional arts, drama, dance and musical of Javanese heritage performance with about 200 members.
